SONFUAT

SONFUAT MACHINERY WORKS is the parent company that has spawned the successful and dynamic SONFUAT group of companies today. Its humble beginning was in 1978, in a small factory along Jalan Ampuan, Batu Pahat, where it started operation with the purpose of serving the electronic industry in the area of tooling, jigs, fixtures, spare parts, etc. The company’s birth was the brainchild of Mr CF Lam, whose visionary leadership was instrumental in driving the SONFUAT business to what it is today.

Right from its early days, customers could perceive the high level of passion and commitment in SONFUAT way of doing business. Within two years, with encouragement and support from key customers, SONFUAT PRECISION was set up to supply high precision plastic parts. The total SONFUAT business then grew at a fast pace, to the extent that in 1985 it had to relocate to a bigger factory along Jalan Minyak Beku, Batu Pahat. The next milestone took place in 1997, when the company shifted to its own factory, also along Jalan Minyak Beku, which is where SONFUAT operates its business today.

Despite the size of the SONFUAT group of companies today, SONFUAT MACHINERY WORKS still retains the dynamic character of its yesteryears. Its small workforce of 10 machinists and operators displays a fierce commitment to its customers. Most of the workforce have been with the company for many years, and are highly skilled and experienced. Equipped with an array of machineries from lathes to EDMs to milling machines, SONFUAT MACHINERY WORKS delivers both results and satisfaction to its customers.

Driven by a vision for excellence that is the hallmark of the SONFUAT group of companies, SONFUAT MACHINERY WORKS continues today to seek new customers. Its reputation is backed by the testimonies of established customers such as Fujitsu, Mitsumi, etc.
